Out of Country Vessel Permit: Prior to the vessel's 61st day in Washington waters, you are required to purchase a Vessel Out of Country Permit, which is issued by the State of Washington's Dept of Licensing. The one time fee is $33.75, and is good for the life time of the vessel and is transferable if you sell the vessel. It will allow your vessel to stay in Washington waters indefinitely. The forms for this permit are available in the harbor office and we would be pleased to submit it on your behalf.
Cruising Permit: Vessels with a length of 30 feet and greater seeking to enter the US must have an annual user fee decal. A decal can be purchased for $27.50 from US Customs & Border Protection at www.cbp.com. Vessels less than 30 feet in length do not require a permit decal. However vessels must clear either by telephone of by physical inspection.
